I just discovered something interesting on the USENET newsgroup alt.astrology.moderated.
Some brilliant French Canadian (Claude Latremouille; claudel@freenet.carleton.ca) had the
foresight to check out a website giving records of seismic activity for September 11. On the basis
of peaks in seismic activity in NYC on that date, the exact times of the attacks and building
collapses can be inferred. He also provided the exact coordinates (latitude and longitude) for the
WTC.
Here are the data:
First impact at WTC: 8:46:32 am EDT.
Second impact at WTC: 9:03:00 am EDT.
First collapse of tower: 9:59:11 am EDT.
Second collapse of tower: 10:28:38 am EDT.
Building 7 collapse: 5:20:40 pm EDT.
The WTC was at 74W01, 41N71.
In the chart of the first impact, note that Mercury (the Trickster) is right on the ascendant. What is
he doing there? In Hellenistic astrology, Mercury is the only planet who belongs to neither the
solar or diurnal sect (Jupiter, Saturn, and Sun) nor the lunar or nocturnal sect (Venus, Mars, and
Moon); he is, one might say, the bridge between the light and the dark. I've been thinking that this
very very intensely dark event might precipitate a mobilization and intensification of the forces or
agents of the light; it already seems to be forcing people and nations to decide which side they
are on, and most seem to be opting for the light. The chart contains an incomplete Grand Sextile
(with just one point missing), which would normally be considered beneficial. Could this event
launch us into an era of global cooperation of newly empowered forces for good?? (The sextile is
also, in my opinion, a Venusian aspect; note that Muslims keep the sabbath on Friday, the day of
Venus; to the Babylonians and Sumerians, at least, Venus, or Ishtar/Inanna in their culture, was
the goddess of love as an evening star, but the goddess of war as a morning star; she is currently
a morning star, rising before the Sun.)
I've now read many claims from different sources that September 17, 2001 (today) is supposed to
be either the end of some huge aeon or the beginning of some age of enlightenment, or at least
the day of some great shift in consciousness. (The Moon is new today. So any ending now ought
also to be a new beginning.) We've already seen a huge shift in the past 6 days: The world has
gone from being almost universally anti-American to being almost universally supportive of
America!!! Perhaps America is coming into its own on a spiritual level, about to shift from being just
materially and politically powerful (in fact dominant) to being spiritually powerful (or dominant) as
well??
Don't have any idea who figured all this out, but it is interesting.... even intriguing!
