Change is underway in our beings. That change, while perhaps initiated on spiritual levels, is reflected in our physical world through nature and other external manifestations.

For some the shifts seem more subtle, while the lives of others are being virtually rewritten. The vestiges of the old are swept away in a moment's time, mirroring in tangible terms the incredible transformations that are occurring.

Uranus, our planetary representative of change, has been moving more and more slowly over the past few weeks, in preparation for going retrograde this Thursday. In terms of actual motion, since June 1 the planet has moved only 15 minutes (one quarter of a degree), in comparison to covering more than a degree and a half during the same number of days in March -- which means Uranus is currently moving at about one-sixth of that previous pace.

Just as we slow down when preparing to shift into reverse, all planets go through a similar shift in gears when they're about to change direction. For us, this slowed motion means that our experience of the planet's energy is increased.

Imagine sitting in front of a fan that is set to oscillate on "Low." The gentle back-and-forth motion keeps the air moving around us, and when the breeze passes over us, we are refreshed and cooled. This is how we tend to appreciate change the most -- when it seems to be within our control, and at least a bit expected. We can usually agree that change in this form keeps life interesting and enjoyable.

But what happens when the fan is set on "High," and pointed directly at us? It is energizing, to say the least -- but there is far less a feeling of being in control, especially when papers start flying about the room.

In such circumstances that clearly are outside of our control, our choice is in how we respond. We may feel frustrated, angry, or even overwhelmed if we've already been under stress, and try vainly to keep everything in its place. On the other hand, we also may feel awakened and exhilarated, and even learn to find humor in the swirling chaos.

Taking it a step further, we may also choose to look at the symbolism of the papers flying about us, or, like reading tea leaves, take stock of how they land as indicators of the meaning of it all.

Similarly, times when Uranus' influence is increased can feel either energizing or overwhelming. If we're aware that change is needed and open to the impulse of new energy, Uranus can be the planet that opens the door to our freedom. But that liberating intention is true even when we're resistant to the changes underway.

It is always advisable during strongly-Uranian times to be flexible, and not to expect everything to go according to conscious plan. And, with Uranus in the spiritually-based sign of Pisces, the answer to any concerns that arise is to trust that there is a higher plan in effect -- a plan that we, in times of more elevated awareness, are also able to sense.

As the planet of higher consciousness and enlightenment, Uranus' goal is to help us achieve that higher perspective whenever possible. When we open our minds to that heightened viewpoint, true liberation is achieved.

The changes experienced now may be felt most by those persons, cities and countries whose birthcharts contain planets or points at around 23 degrees of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces). In general, due to the placement of the Sun in their charts, this applies especially to people and places birthed within a day or two of March 13, June 13, September 15 and December 15 of any year.

One example of how this change could manifest is shown by the current experience of one client (shared with her permisson). With her Sun at 22 degrees Gemini and her Midheaven at 24 degrees Gemini, we would expect that she would be involved in changing her self-concept (Sun) and her career (Midheaven).

This woman had planned to work one more year at her job, to retire with full benefits. Within the past month, that plan has changed dramatically. The position she has had for many years is being phased out, and her option was either to take early retirement, with decreased benefits, or to take a different position within the company -- one that would be reverting to the past and felt limiting rather than expansive.

After some consideration and intuitive listening, she chose to embrace the bigger change, take a leap of faith, and see what happened next. That faith was rewarded, for in the two weeks since making the decision to take early retirement, she has not only received multiple offers to teach classes in other areas of personal interest, but has also been offered contract work with the very company she is leaving.

Uranus transits typically encourage us to move in the direction of what is most personally fulfilling, even if we are told (or are telling ourselves) that we "should" act in other ways. And, since Uranus is in Pisces, those steps we take will be supported most when we trust in positive outcomes and listen to the intuitive voice within for guidance.

Our reward may not always be as immediately apparent as in the example I've given -- but in many cases, it is. The answer is in understanding the changes as our guidance, calming whatever fears arise, and taking the time needed to sense where the change wants to take us.

On Thursday, the same day that Uranus goes retrograde, Saturn and Jupiter form an aspect called a "sesquisquare." According to astrologer Bil Tierney in his book Dynamics of Aspect Analysis:

"With this aspect, we are apt to react to minor conflicts in an overly forceful manner, which tends to throw situations off-balance or blow them out of proportion....this aspect calls for more calmness, patience and objectivity."

As a teacher, Saturn wants us to learn self-discipline and patience, and to pay attention to the rules of physical reality. Saturn is now in Virgo, corresponding with the veritable "clean-up" underway in our psyches and our physical bodies. From Saturn's perspective, everything that is imperfect must be fixed, and all that has outlived its usefulness must be discarded.

Jupiter, on the other hand, is all about expansiveness and hope, and wants us to explore new territories so that we might understand the meaning of life. Jupiter is currently in Capricorn, expanding our ability to take charge of our lives, and to find joy in our achievements.

Our challenge with this Saturn-Jupiter aspect is to take the best of both planetary placements, perhaps when our first response might be to take the worst. In worst-case scenario, we could default to hypercriticalness and authoritarianism -- but with patience and an enlightened perspective, we can shift that energy into a willingness to work on what needs to be changed, and a sense of adventure about creating new structures that will bring more joy into our lives.

Blessings!

Pam

NorthPoint Astrology Journal

For June 16 to 22, 2008

The Sagittarius Full Moon on Wednesday (at 10:31am PDT) is the focal point of the week, and offers a complex mix of energies to work with. At the time of the lunation, not only is the Moon aligned with the Galactic Center, but Pluto is also close by, contributing to the intensity and potential for transformational changes. The asteroid Juno is also activated, being just within range of participating.

Opposite that grouping in Sagittarius, we find the Sun in late degrees of Gemini, conjunct Venus and Ceres in early degrees of Cancer. Uranus in Pisces then squares both the Sun and the Moon-Pluto-Juno consortium, forming what is known as a "t-square" in astrological terms.

Other highlights this week include Mercury ending his retrograde phase, Mars opposite Neptune and quincunx Uranus, and the Sun entering Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.

Whew! My apologies for starting off this issue with SO much astrological jargon -- but it does supply a good demonstration of the complexity of this week energetically.

Let's start our journey through this maze by taking a look at the Sabian symbol for 28 degrees of Sagittarius, the location of the Full Moon. That symbol reads:

"An old bridge over a beautiful stream is still in constant use: The enduring elements in a society which reveal its ability to significantly link the genius of its individuals to the everyday needs of the collectivity."

The bridge in this image also can be interpreted to represent the link between this dimension and other realities, which is not only ancient, but is "in constant use," whether or not we are consciously aware of the ongoing sharing of energies and ideas. This is where our true genius lies -- in our ability to tap into the higher-level information that is just beyond our left brain's capability to conceive.

Further explanation of this symbol reveals the importance of intentionally accessing of the wealth of information available to us through our intuitive channels:

"The mastery over material factors of a few imaginative and trained individuals enables their community to remain well-integrated and able to function easily in the best possible environment. The work of these sculptor-engineers allows their people to develop a relatively permanent culture." (Dane Rudhyar, An Astrological Mandala)

The numbers of people on the planet becoming aware of their spiritual nature is growing exponentially -- whether or not they choose to define it in cosmic terms. The current trend toward Earth preservation, the accelerated development of alternative energy sources, the growing dissatisfaction with the use of violence as an attempt at solution, are all signs that a shift is occurring. We are gradually becoming more aware of who we are and how much power we have to create and change our world.

The mention of "a few imaginative and trained individuals" in the symbol interpretation reminds us that those who are growing in awareness, who are honing their creative skills, and who carry the vision of a better future, are needed now. It is in our power to hold the intention and the positive energy to make a major difference in the unfolding of our shared future.

The energies that reach us from the Galactic Center contain the blueprint for the perfect world we seek to create on planet Earth, and carry that information into every cell of our bodies. While Pluto aligned with the Galactic Center throughout 2007, he added to that energy stream his own imperatives for revealing and discarding misperceptions and fears that were limiting the creative process.

That alignment corresponded with significant upheavals in 2007, as individually and collectively we began the process of releasing and rebuilding. The losses experienced last year symbolized the beliefs that were ready to be upgraded, and triggered the fears that were ready to be released, in preparation for our next evolutionary step.

Since Full Moons represent a time of heightened awareness, this week we may see how far we've come in our abilities both to see ourselves as spiritual beings, and to interpret our experiences on the planet as symbolic of a larger truth and meaning. These alignments at the Full Moon also signify that we're ready to take that next step in our process of evolution.

Uranus is at right-angles to the Sun-Moon opposition that creates this Full Moon, which means we will probably need to be flexible this week. Since Uranus is in Pisces, we will be most successful if we allow the expanded perspective we've been nurturing to take a more prominent role in our responses.

Uranus is moving very slowly now, in preparation for going retrograde on June 26, and so is emphasizing the use of higher consciousness as a tool for living, and especially as a lens through which to interpret change. Remember that "not everything is as it seems" -- and yet, everything is also representative of a larger truth. The paradox may be hard to grasp intellectually, but our higher selves should have no problem with the task.

It is time to call upon the aspect of ourselves that knows more and sees more than we can as merely human beings. We are certainly more than just physical, and we are learning to access that expanded awareness that will eventually change our world for the better.

Mars in Leo interacts with both Uranus and Neptune this week, indicating that we will need to adjust our usual modus operandi as a part of this new phase. In other words, we will need to step out of a purely personal mode and into a more multiversal perspective, as represented by both Neptune in Aquarius and Uranus in Pisces.

The Neptune-Mars opposition is especially geared to help us let go of the need to have the world revolve around us. This aspect is a call to develop compassion, forgiveness and a level of understanding that lifts us above competition, power plays, and intimidation. Astrologer Judy Hall explains in her book Karmic Astrology that:

"Neptune-Mars contacts offer a lesson about the will, but this time this involves aligning it with the Self -- that inner divine part of our being -- and using that inner attunement and intuitive knowledge of its spiritual pathway as a life direction."

Under this influence, ego takes a back seat. Those activities that focus on self with a small "s" are not likely to go very far, whereas the more we can envision ourselves as part of a greater whole, the more we will accomplish.

Blessings to you this week,

Pam

If you have not read this Journal recently, please note:

I am writing a series of articles discussing the effects of the Neptune-Chiron-Jupiter alignment on May 27, 2009 for those of us born: between September 1954 and February 1955; between July and September 1955; and between February and August 1956. If you would like to receive a PDF copy of the articles when they're ready (whether or not you were born during the dates listed), please e-mail me at pam@northpointastrology.com with the subject line: May 2009 Alignment.

As she orbits the Earth, the Moon varies in her physical distance from us. When she is closest, she is at "perigee"; when when she is furthest away, she is at "apogee."

This photo, copied from Moonconnection.com, compares the size of a full moon at apogee and at perigee using the same camera lens. The Web site explains that:

"The apogee and perigee of the moon have a definite affect on the weather and tides here on Earth. When the moon is at apogee, the furthest distance from the Earth, it has less gravitational pull. Weather conditions can be more stable and the tides more predictable. When the moon is at perigee, closer to the Earth, there is much more gravitational pull and it can whip up the tides and cause weather to become more unstable." The increased electromagnetic field felt on Earth when the Moon is at perigee affects not only our physical weather, but our internal "weather" as well.

We are learning to think in new ways, using the right half of the brain as well as the left. It is the right half of the brain that gives us access to higher-level experiences, while the left half allows us to deal with the physical world and its rules and limitations.

There's a fascinating and inspirational online video that explains more about these ideas, for those who wish to view it:

www.ted.com/talks/view/id/229

This link takes you to a 20-minute talk given by Jill Bolte Taylor, a brain researcher who experienced a stroke, but who retained her conscious awareness of the experience. The stroke interrupted the usual activities of the left side of her brain, allowing the right side of her brain to take over.

This woman's experience of "nirvana" during her stroke has given me solace during a time when my own father has been having multiple strokes. And, her story gives considerable insights into how developing the right side of the brain is perhaps the experience of "ascension" we on planet Earth are working toward.

If you prefer to read the text of Jill's talk rather than view the video, here's the link to that transcript: http://blog.ted.com/2008/03/jill_bolte_tayl.php#more

As time speeds up, the left sides of our brains are going into overwhelm on a regular basis, just from the sheer magnitude of information and experience coming in. It occurs to me after hearing Jill's story that perhaps one higher intention of this overwhelm and subsequent shut-down is to encourage us to utilize the right side of our brains, thereby gaining access to a higher level of wisdom.

Blessings,

Pam

Pluto

On June 13, Pluto re-enters the sign of Sagittarius. Why this transit is so significant and what does it mean to you?

Pluto is a tiny, distant body, invisible to the naked eye. Yet, Pluto is incredibly powerful, a force for total transformation, regeneration and rebirth. Pluto asks us to go beyond what we know, redeem ourselves in the process and come out stronger as a result. Pluto represents how we direct our lives.

It takes Pluto a whopping 248 years to complete its orbit around the zodiac and, it takes between 12 and 31 years to pass through a zodiac sign. For the past 12 years Pluto had been stationed in the sign of Sagittarius. Then on January 25, for the very first time since 1778, Pluto moved into the sign of Capricorn!

Now that Pluto is retrograde, it returns to the sign of Sagittarius for about six months until it turns direct again on September 9, moving back into Capricorn in November -- where it settles down for the next 16 years! This six-month period is the last time in your lifetime that you will experience the energy of Pluto in Sagittarius!

Sagittarius is associated with foreign travel, foreign countries and cultures, religion, the law, higher education and all things that expand one's experience and freedom. The sojourn of Pluto in Sagittarius has seen significant events on a global level. On a personal level, the issues you may have had to deal with for the past few years would be very dependent on where Pluto is placed in your individual birth chart as well as where it has been transiting.

There is a new book out called The Dictator's Astrologer by Roberleigh H Claigh. The book is all about Afra Waesch (the astrologer) and Hitler, comparing their paths, hers toward the light and his toward darkness. Afra was my mother's teacher, and her best friend, whom we children were all fortunate to have influence us also. It was she who introduced my sisters and I to spirituality. Fascinating read. Thought some of you might be interested, especially the people who know astrology as charts are done and analyzed on the top people who surrounded Hitler. Basically it is a great comparison of two people whose paths intertwine and how one's choices make all the difference. The book also indicates how well Afra's Light protected her, even in the most difficult of times. Sharon Wyeth lightkeepers.name@mac.com

The Lunar Eclipse February 20, 2008

By Akria Uriel Melchizedek

What Is this About?

Incoming Christ-Inspired Energies are going straight for the heart. This is a light code activation of the Fifth Dimensional Heart, and the Sacred Feminine and Masculine of your Beloved Spirit making its way into physical embodiment.

Qualities being initiated by this transmission:

Greater Self-love, Acceptance, Honoring and Allowing. Emphasis on the Acceptance of who you are as a Divine Identity....read the complete transmission by clicking the link above.

Long-Long Range Forecast:

Nov 3, 2008 - Saturn makes an opposition to Uranus that echoes the Saturn - Uranus/Pluto opposition of March 6, 1966. Ex-hippies take note. On March 4th, John Lennon was quoted as saying "We're more popular than Jesus now." The revival of Sixties cultural themes begins now and builds slowly toward the Uranus - Pluto squares beginning in 2012.

November 15, 2009 - March 21, 2010 - Saturn makes a series of squares to Pluto newly in Capricorn. The end of business-as-usual politics. The nationalistic dinosaurs will enter their twilight times. The transition to organic regional government will not be smooth...the result may be some corporate feudal mixture. (Thanks to Rob Ryan for catching a typo in the date.)

September 24, 2012 - April 17, 2015 - Uranus in Aries forms his first major hard aspect to Pluto, a square angle, since they were aligned in the second half of the 1960's. Hippie dreams may come true when the ecology and/or petroleum-based economies fail. Plan to live where there is food and water and you don't need a car. Plan to live where you'll know your neighbors...maybe even love them. What a thought! We may have to choose between eating grain on a commune or growing very thin in the city.

Rebirth - The Solar Eclipse of February 2008

By Kate Spreckley

This Solar Eclipse marks a new beginning and the ending of a cycle which began with the Solar Eclipse on the 11th August 1999. To see more information regarding that period please click on the following link: http://www.spiritpathways.co.za/Cyclecomplete.html)

Our journey from August 1999 marked a major Spiritual transition where we grew into our higher wisdom. Our growth has been a process of experience, integration and release. We have created experiences in our lives to learn specific lessons, gaining wisdom and understanding. When we have had an experience, we review and integrate the lessons contained therein. Once we have integrated the insights and incorporated them into our subconscious, we release them, keeping the knowledge and information and allowing the emotions of the experience to disperse. It is important that we complete each stage of growth successfully or we may become stuck in one aspect and our growth and development comes to a standstill.

There were three significant aspects to this cycle of transition: the recognition that our Spirit had been restricted and the subsequent accessing of our Spirit; the understanding of our ego identity and its impact on our life; and the accessing of our path into our light and the understanding of our true purpose for being. At this time we are being given the opportunity to review these processes and to complete any stage where we may have gotten stuck in order for us to begin our path of growth again.

In opening ourselves to the energy of the changes now occurring we are able to celebrate these changes as evidence that we have moved onto a new level in our lives. In reviewing the lessons, we allow the old patterns to fall away and are able to take this opportunity to choose the new patterns we wish to create in our lives and in our world.

We have learned the appropriate application of our individual power. We know that it is through our power that we manifest matter from the energetic framework we create with our thoughts, beliefs and desires.

In our world we have been taught that we must be either dictatorial, abusing our power to conquer, or be subservient and give away our power to feel loved and accepted. Our path has been one of balance through these different polarities of our world and we are now at a time where our power and will is perfectly aligned with that of our Creator, the Great Spirit.

Our power is either aligned with our ego or with the Great Spirit, our Creator. When we align ourselves with our ego we apply our energy through manipulation, bargaining and control of others. While we may be able to create and manifest in this way our creations and manifestations are usually not for the highest good of ourselves or our world. These creations will feel empty and unsatisfactory leaving us to want more and better to feel fulfilled.

In aligning our power with our Creator, the Great Spirit, we become conscious channels for manifesting that which is for the highest good of ourselves and all others. We release the need to create specific forms and open ourselves to manifesting that which will help us in fulfilling our purpose on Earth. This right use of power creates a sense of trust in ourselves and a feeling of fulfillment and joy in our creations. We become an extension of the Divine Universal Force.

In aligning our power with that of the Creator, we are able to manifest the light that our planet so desperately needs. We are able to reject the polarities of mastery and slavery and become the true leaders of a new world. We will be guided to resolutions, situations and experiences that are for the highest good of ourselves and all others.

In this cycle of transition we discovered that it is essential that we merge and integrate our Spiritual, mental, physical and emotional selves to feel our wholeness. The Solar Eclipse of February is a time when these energies will combine and create an energy that is more powerful than the sum of its parts, a force which embodies the moment of creation. This energy will clear our minds and renew our bodies and create a rebirth on all levels. Rebirth is not always an easy process but it is a necessary part of the cycles of life and nature. When we are in a place of no movement in our lives, it is as if we are experiencing a period of death. This energy will create a rebirth in a new direction through which we can explore our lives once again. It will create profound and drastic changes on all levels and throughout our experiences.

Some will experience destruction as those areas of ones life that are no longer stable or strong will be torn down. This energy is cleansing and will move through our lives uprooting those creations that no longer serve, enabling new experiences and new creations to take root.

We are being blessed with a time of great change and growth where our energy and our lives will be charged once again. We shall find ourselves in new and unexpected places, full of growth, learning, renewal and adventure.

The key to this process of rebirth is acceptance. Acceptance is a path of surrendering to the higher will of our Creator. It is an act of faith in the greater plan. It shows great courage and wisdom and a willingness to live your belief in the Creators Universal plan.

Wonderful synchronicities and opportunities will arise as our total energy will now be able to work in harmony with our Divine purpose. Our destiny will unfold before us, revealing never before considered ideas and paths to follow. We are at a place where we are able to penetrate the veils of the Void, the place where all knowledge and all possibility are held, and bring into this physical realm those creations which are for the highest good of all beings.

The Great Mystery is about to unfold before you and it is time to own that what which you have created.

Take a look at the beauty of your life and your Spiritual path. Even those aspects which seem dark and depressing will now be revealed to contain light. The currents of energy that are shaping your life, your present and your future, have created something wonderful for you that is just about to be revealed. Take a look at the paths and choices before you all of which are leading you to your dreams.

The path we must now comes from the core of our individuality and will show us our essence and how to bring that into form.

We have learned that living in an isolated and separated state does not bring us happiness or contentment and that the true path to self fulfillment, to happiness, to love and to peace, lies in our connection to the Great Spirit, our Creator. It is through this connection that we realize that all is connected. We are connected to our Earth, to the animals and planets and to each other.

The energetic work we are called to do in this life is only partially physical, emotional and mental. There is also the work of our Soul which involves our service to humanity and the opportunity and challenge for us to be a light in our world.

We are a generation where awareness of the issues of environmental degradation, climate change, war, terrorism and nuclear proliferation are made public. Where we have knowledge and understanding regarding the impact of these issues and we are able to do something about them.

Each generation holds the expectations for all of life and the future of all Creation. What we do in this lifetime will affect the next seven generations of our world, we will impact the next 200 hundred years of time on this Earth. When we heal ourselves and our world we are working for the benefit of the seventh generation into the future.

We are in a time of great service and of deep reflection where we open our hearts to the riches held in our destiny. True merging of understanding and love of ones people and community is required. Justice, humanitarian service and goodwill must become a way of life and it is up to us to seize the initiative on our life paths, to help the needy, to be generous to the poor and to teach others the values of justice, fairness, equality and honour, learning to live in harmony with all of life.

We will find many new opportunities to illuminate our world and we are reminded of our inherent right to experience the blessings of health, wealth and happiness. Imagine the possibility of unlimited joy, love and wisdom.

Believe in miracles and follow your dreams. Rekindle your divine light, wisdom and love. Open your mind and heart to your higher identity which guides you on your path of destiny. Dedicate your life to the destiny you truly wish to fulfill and be the teacher whose words, songs and gentle touch can heal our world.

Accept the healing that your growth has brought you and allow the light and love surrounding you to assist you on your path to your full potential. Even in this time of great energy you are required to face and overcome your refusal to allow right action to flow through you. Control your anger, contain your impulses and keep your faith firm as this is a time of restoration and renewal at your deepest level.

Moon Eclipse on Sept. 11, 2007

7.9 Earthquake Rocks Peru and its Capital City Lima at 6:40PM EST on August 15: Mars in Gemini was EXACTLY underneath the Earth, the asteroid Vesta within 1 degree of the Midheaven (overhead), and the fateful Moon's Orbit (Nodes of the Moon) was close to rising and setting close to the moment of the earthquake, but -- more telling and provocative -- is the exact moment of the last New Moon (August 12) just 3 days ago, calculated for Lima. This shows one of great and potentially terrifying earthquake planets -- Neptune -- PRECISELY! rising in Lima, with the Sun conjunct the Moon almost exactly setting, and the largest asteroid -- Ceres -- near the exact bottom of the chart, and underneath the Earth in Taurus. Plus -- Mars in Gemini was also close to the root point of that chart as well. You can see a color version of the New Moon (Aug. 12) Chart for Lima by clicking on the first link below. The second link below has the actual earthquake map -- calculated for Ica, Peru -- south of Lima. Any celestial body close to rising, setting, above or below a location on Earth has the power to trigger an earthquake particularly when more than one cosmic body is on an angle. We are all sending prayers and healing thoughts to all affected in Peru by this massive quake. This is another example of the power of the planets and celestial bodies as they impact our vulnerable world. Sincerely, Mark Lerner

Bridge Disaster in Minneapolis , Aug. 1, 2007: Amazingly, Pluto (key planet of extremes and terror) is almost precisely rising, but Mars in Taurus and Saturn in Leo form 150-degree and 120-degree alignments with that rising Pluto and Ascendant. This creates a mysterious Pythagorean Triangle -- composed of a 90-degree square (Mars to Saturn), 120-degree trine (Saturn to Pluto), and 150-degree inconjunct (Mars to Pluto). You will see in the chart that the Sun and Saturn are in the eighth house -- traditionally associated with death, mysteries, secrets and the unknown. Note the presence of a triple conjunction of the Moon in Pisces (water sign -- the bridge is over the Mississippi River!), Pallas and Uranus (planet of shocks). Pallas equates with engineering! The Moon-Pallas union is within 1 minute of exactitude. In addition to all this, the Galactic Center -- 27 Sagittarius -- is the rising degree area and Pluto has been crisscrossing this place in the zodiac on and off throughout 2007 for the first time in 248 years. Important P.S. on August 2: I looked over the chart for Minnesota itself -- its birthchart for when it entered the Union on May 11, 1858. On that day, Mars at 26+ Scorpio was exactly opposite Jupiter at 26+ Taurus at the birth of Minnesota as a state. The Mars placement at the bridge collapse was EXACTLY opposing its own placement and on top of the Jupiter placement in Minnesota's birthmap! This is quite astounding and another example -- unfortunately -- of dynamic, Mundane Astrology in action. In addition, the powerful transiting Saturn placement (26 Leo) and extremist transiting Pluto placement (27 Sagittarius) also precisely ignited the Mars (accidents) and Jupiter (something LARGE-SCALE) positions in Minnesota's horoscope.Mark Lerner
